Join us this Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 9AM at DJ’s Martial Arts & Fitness for a dynamic master class by Sigung Malia Bernal. Sigung Malia is the First Woman to have graced a Black Belt Magazine Cover. She is a 3-time winner of the Golden Fist Award, and is a member of the Kajukenbo Black Belt Hall of Fame. She has a 7th degree Black and Red Belt in Kajukenbo, and a 7th degree Black Sash in Wun Hop Kuen Do. Her Forms Master Class last year was a real treat that showed both her strength and beauty in the art. This is definitely a “not to be missed event.”
The class begins promptly at 9AM, and the cost is $25 payable to DJ’s Martial Arts & Fitness. See you there!

Sigung Doug, I hope to see you in Las Vegas for the 2010 KOA event. Now is the time to get the word out and help support the Kajukenbo Ohana Association the Grand masters need the troops to help promote Kajukenbo and continued knowledge within the various systems. I look forward to working with you and hope that all of the Black belts will bring their students, family and friends for what will be a great event!
